ABOUT
My childhood was full of imagining fictional worlds, creating stories, and reading books. Being quite a curious child, however, I used to believe I wanted to be a doctor. That was until I was about 12, when I took a trip to Los Angeles, which led me to discover the world of smoke and mirrors behind films and TV shows, and to understand that there was a possibility I could work in creating the worlds that had captivated me. Pursuit of that possibility is what makes me want to work in the film industry.
I decided to go into animation to merge my love for the arts and storytelling with my curiosity for tech. I recently graduated with a BFA in Emerging Media-Character Animation at the University of Central Florida. There, I was given the amazing opportunity of being the co-director of a team of 12 students in the development of a 3D short film, called Superstitious. Being a small team, I wore many hats during the production, from scriptwriting, to modeling, lighting, and effects/compositing.
I hope to one day work in the animation industry, and eventually having the opportunity to write stories for animated films that can also drive positive change.
